This happened a long time ago and I forget how to rectify it. When I preview my page in Firefox, the drop down menus show momentarily then text replaces them saying to "adjust your Flash Player local settings".

As I say, I've fixed this before but have forgotten. Can you help?

Hello Tony,

You need to access the Flash Player settings manager on Adobe.com and then add the folder with your site as trusted location.

However, you shouldn't have to do this on the latest version of the extension? What version do you have installed?
