Creative DW Menu Pack is a suite of Dreamweaver extensions that seamlessly blends the flexibility of DHTML and the Flash look and feel to create beautifully web site menus. The extension comes with over 30 built in skins that can be customized to suit the design (colors, fonts, size) and include a smart resize system that preserves round corners and the gradient fills when you change the menu size.

I think I might have broken the previous discussion thread by pasting my Adobe error code into the message window, sorry. I am no longer able to use the product and it crashes DW every time I try & usually forces me to do a complete system reboot because when DW crashes it shows that it's still running and I cannot even do a force quit!! PLEASE HELP. I need to update my navigation today for a major project I'm working on and can't figure out how to do it with the code that this product produces.

Can someone from support please contact me? I have tried all the suggestions on this site to no avail.

IT WAS WORKING YESTERDAY!!!!

Hello,

In order to solve this problem, you need to uninstall the extension and install it again. After that you need to erase the Dreamweaver Cache, because it contains functions from the old extension. You will find it by inserting [user Name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver 9/Configuration/[a data file with a name similar to MacFileCache-92F485B4.dat ] in Finder. Next, delete this file, while Dreamweaver is closed.

Please let us know if the problem persists and we will assist you. Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,
Lavinia Iancu

I am sorry to say that no matter what I try this extension is too unstable.

I just did what you suggested and it keeps crashing Dreamweaver. Since day one I haven't been able to use it.

I just dont know what else to except give up.

Unless you can come with a solution I will have to scartch it for good. I just regreat that I didn't return it as soonas the first problem showed up, but because I kept hoping I didn't and now I regreat it.

Hello,

Thank you for your sincerity in expressing your negative feedback. I am telling you this because, from my experience, all negative feedbacks we have ever received have been materialized into improvements for our firm.

The Extend Studio management team would like to express their deepest regrets regarding this situation and would like to emphasize that Extend Studio is taking full responsibility for the mistakes made. Our policy is customer oriented, this is why we do not erase any threads on the forums, regardless of their nature, positive or negative feedback.

We have sent you a fix for the problem on the 20th of May, as we did with other Mac users who have experienced this issue. We expected feedback from you, and by not receiving any answer until now, we thought that we have solved it. This may be an issue that a part of the clients have experienced: Dreamweaver creates a cache file with built-in extension functions. In order to fix it, you should delete the cache, while Dreamweaver is closed. You will find it by inserting [user Name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver 9/Configuration/[a data file with a name similar to MacFileCache-92F485B4.dat ] in Finder. After you delete it, restart Dreamweaver.

If this does not solve the problem, we would like to schedule a desktop sharing session, because we cannot reproduce this issue here. The fix worked for the other Mac users who have experienced this issue.

Because we want to compensate for the issue caused, we will give you a full refund for the product, if you want, and you can also choose any of our products and you will receive a free license for them.

In the end I would like to apologize again for the inconveniences caused.

Sincerely,

Lavinia Iancu
