I had this problem when I first installed but just moved to a new computer and can't remember what I did to resolve.
When I go to edit CreativeMenu, a popup comes up instructing to close DW and delete a .dat file. I do this but when I restart DW and try to edit, the same dialogue window appears and the .dat file has come back.
Can you tell me what to do? Thanks!

Hello,
If you deleted that file once already you don't have to delete it again. So, check the "don't show this again" box and press "ok" afterwards.

That does not solve the issue. I checked the box to "don't show again", clicked the link to close DW and deleted the .dat file and reopened DW and tried to edit menu and the dialogue box came up again instructing me to delete the .dat file.
The .dat file comes back every time I reopen DW.

Hello,
Don't click on the link to delete the .dat file. You don't need to delete it if you already removed it once after you installed the extension.
The .dat file is recreated each time Dreamweaver closes. Also, the "don't show this again" setting is lost when you delete the file.
So, just check "don't show this again" and then press OK.
