Sorry for the formating in the previous thread. This should be easier to read.

I installed Dreamweaver CS5 on a new computer and installed Creative-DW-Drop-Down-Menu extension.

When viewing a web page, in Dreamweaver "Live View" on my new local computer, which contains a Creative-DW-Drop-Down-Menu, the menu graphics are not displayed and I just see a list of links down the page.

In Dreamweaver the document bar says the following files are not on local disk:
- AC_RunActiveContent.js
- menuDisplay.js
- swfobject.js

After installing drop down menu extension on the new PC my "includes" folder has 2 different "Creative Menus" folders spelled slightly differently.

(1) "Creative_Menus" folder which contains the "menuDisplay.js" file and has a sub-folder named "Dropdown_Menu" with a "js" sub-folder that contains the "swfobject.js" file.

(2) "Creative Menus" folder which doesn't contain a "menuDisplay.js" file and has a sub-folder named "Dropdown Menu" with a "js" sub-folder that doesn't contain a "swfobject.js" file.

The "Scripts" folder is empty and does not contain the "AC_RunActiveContent.js" file.

The menu is currently working properly on the HOST web server which I uploaded all the files previously from a different local computer.

The HOST computer has a folder named "Creative Menus" with a sub-folder named "Dropdown Menu" which has all of the missing files.

My first thought was to delete both the "Creative_Menus" folder and sub-folders and also the "Creative Menus" folder and sub-folders on my local computer and get the "Creative Menus" folder, sub-folder & files from the host. Before I start deleting any files I just want to confirm this is the source of my menu display problem.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

If you test the menu in a locally in browser, not in Dreamweaver Live View, it's working?

The menu should work again if you edit it and then just press OK. The extension will create the necessary files in case you don't have them in your sites folder.

You can remove the "Creative Menus" folder as it is not used anymore by our extension.

Opening the menus and pressing OK seemed solve the problem viewing it on Live View and on the browser.

However, after I deleted the 'Creative Menus' folder form the host server and put the 'Creative_Menus' folder on the server the menu did not display on the web page viewed on the internet. When I copied the 'Creative Menus' folder back to the server it seems to work again.

Any suggestions?

Hello Vic,

Probably the page on the server is still linked to the "Creative Menus" folder and not "Creative_Menus". Check the script source paths on the page from the head section and modify them if needed.
