i created a menu and it works fine on my computer. when my client browses to the site, the menu uses a completely different font.
is there a way to embed the font into the menu?
if not, i at LEAST need the ability to specify a few default fonts (like you can with CSS)
i created my menu with a sans-serif font, but when my client views the website, he sees a serif font.

Hello Eric,
You can't embed the fonts in the menus because you can't embedd a font in a website. Only the FL Menus component has this capability.

Hello Andrei,
Nowadays there are several ways to embed certain fonts to websites using stylesheets: Google webfonts (http://code.google.com/webfonts), Font Squirrel (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator), TypeKit (http://typekit.com/fonts).
The only thing is that neither of these fontgenerating tools comply with the Creative Menus code. I tried changing the font name with the newly generated font-family in the div for the main_text, but the fontface doesn't show.
(example: <div id="main_text" mainFont="CaflischScriptWebRegular,18">
Is this something usefull for you guys to work on?
I'll be glad te be hearing from you with a solution.

Hello Michael,
At the point that this extension was created there weren't any of these scripts and tools to embed font in a website. It would be difficult to include such a solution in the current version of the extension.
We have started working on an upgrade for the Creative Menus. Font embedding is an important feature and we will do our best to provide the best embedding solution in this next version.
I cannot say how much time before the second version will be released, though. There is still a lot of work ahead of us.
