Hello,

The trial version has the same functionality as the full version. In demo version, one of the buttons from the menu structure is replaced with button that points to our website.

Hello,

You have some script tags at the start of the page, before the doctype declaration. Move them to the head section. The doctype declaration needs to be the first thing on a webpage or it will be ignored. Probably this is what is happening and your page is rendered using IE's default doctype.

I have started working on a site and following your advice i moved the scripts to the top.

as i add the menu to the site
http://sample5.snappingturtle.co.za/
it throws my site out of wack.
as soon as i remove the code and have the original header
the website lines up
the issues is in both FF and IE8
i know the menu is not lined up but that was me playing with it trying to get it to work.
any idea on what i am doing wrong ?
thanks
Peter

Hello Peter,

The lower part of the page is not aligned because you closed the "container" and "wrapper" divs right bellow the menu script. Move those closing divs from there to the end of the page. You probably copied them by mistake when you moved the menu script.

Andrei

Awesome it worked, seems there was two extra divs that needed to be removed

Hi Andrei ok let me try explain

when you look at the buttons at the top of the site: http://sample5.snappingturtle.co.za/
you have the home and right bellow there is a line so the button is not floating on its own its joined to the bottom blue line, my question is, i know you select a style, but is there a way to edit the style so that i can remove that blue line so the buttons look like they floating on their own.

Hello Peter,

You can't edit the default skins. I will try to find the original skin file and edit it. If I manage to make it work I will send you a swf file by email.

The single way to edit skins is by creating your own skins. Is not that hard to do. We have a tutorial if you want to give it a shot: http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-dropdown-menu/documentation/tutorials/how-to-create-a-custom-skin.html
