box Creative DW Menus Pack
Creative DW Menu Pack is a suite of Dreamweaver extensions that seamlessly blends the flexibility of DHTML and the Flash look and feel to create beautifully web site menus. The extension comes with over 30 built in skins that can be customized to suit the design (colors, fonts, size) and include a smart resize system that preserves round corners and the gradient fills when you change the menu size.

I installed the extention, deleted the dat file and tried to insert a menu, after I configured the menu when I hit the ok button I get this error.

While executing onClick in xtd_CM_CreateMenuB.htm a javascript error occured

Then I click ok
and I get the same error again

then I click ok (only option) and it stays in the window that allows me to edit the menu
I click ok again to try to insert the menu and i get an error
there is another menu saved with this name

so I click ok, then click cancel in the window to go back to dreamweaver. I then try to use the insert menu (that had apparently already been made) i get an error "there was a problem reading the menu information!"

So what do I do from here?

Hi Chen,

Have you tried deleting the FileCache file?

More detailed instructions can be found here:

Argh! My long reply just got wiped because I wasn't logged in :-(

Oh well, just out of curiosity sake have you tried installing the same menu as well as a different menu onto a blank page to see if it still comes up?

Perhaps there is a conflict with a DW template or some other element on the page? Its just something I would to try and eliminate some factors that may be contributing to the problem to help narrow it down.

Hi Tren,

What version of DW are you using?

I am still thinking its the cache file issue as that has always cleared up that error with any extensions - not just ExtensStudio.

Is it possible that you have more than one user profile set up on the computer and may have been logged into a different user when you installed the extension?

Do you have any other extensions installed and do they work normally?

Hello Tren,

Could we connect for a desktop sharing session so that I can check what's happening in your Dreamweaver? It would help us alot to figure out what's wrong and fix the problem directly. It will take just a couple of minutes.

I can send you more details about the connection by email. Don't write here, I can take it from the database.

Regards,
