I do not want CM to publish the menu automatically at the end of every sessions. I do not have publish on the ftp ticked.... how do I stop the automatic publishing from happening.

Hello,

The upload is handled by Dreamweaver not by our component. There is an option called "Automatically upload files to server on save" in the site definition/remote info tab. Are you sure it's not checked?

You could always disable the remote access and handle uploading manually whenever you want.

The box was NOT ticked but I did try ticking it and making a small change on the menu and CM tried to publish. I then removed the tick and made another small change and again CM tried to publish. By the way it tries to publish on all my web sites.

It takes about 30 seconds to open CM on my 27" MAC with Snow Leopard.
