Hi i just built a new PC with XP OS and IE ver 8 when I view a web site with the tab Menu I see the the nav bar as just text. when I look at it using Fire Fox it is fine and also when I use a another machine using IE I see the menu fine my question is is there something in IE that needs turned on my new machine is a new build I have installed JAva is there any thing elsernCheersrnfor any helprnDave

Hi Dave,

Please check that you have Flash and JavaScript enabled in IE 8.

Hi Cristian Thanks for your help yes in Internet Options and in the adavance tab I have Java installed and enabled but I have a dumb question how do you enable Javascript

Hi Cristian, I see it the proper way using a old machine but when I view it with the new machine I see just text links if you need me to I can send screen grabs

Hello Dave,

You probably have IE set up on "High" security level. This level blocks just about any javascript on the page and that's why the menu aren't rendered. Please set your security level to "medium" and try to view our menus again.

To change the security settings go to Tools->Internet Options and then the security tab.

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi I have fixed the problem It was the install of Java it apparently did not install the first time I removed it and reinstalled it and now I can see the meun fine Thanks for all of your help
