I'm currently using the demo versions of both the tabbed and drop-down menu programs (planning to purchase full version as soon as I am sure this solution works for me).rnrnEverything was working fine, but all of a sudden, I'm unable to add existing menus to my pages. I am getting the following succession of errors:rnrnFirst, "Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or translator. The change will be discarded." (I use templates throughout my site, but I am trying to add the menu to an editable region of a page)rnrn"While executing onLoad in Creative Menus Reindex.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred: At line number 594 of the file c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\Configuration\Commands\xtd_CM_UIApi.js": the object is currently not contained in a document."rnrnAny help would be greatly appreciated.rn

Also, I just downloaded the full version software and I seem to be caught in a never-ending loop where the WinFileCache....dat file keeps reappearing. I click on the link to close Dreamweaver and delete the file, but then when I reopen Dreamweaver and try to edit a menu, I get the same dialogue box again and click the link again to close DW and lo and behold the WinFileCache....dat file is there again...
Please help. Thank you!

Hello,
The 'WinFileCache.dat' file is created each time you close Dreamweaver. But you don't have to delete it all the time. It's best to clear the cache once whenr you remove/update extensions. In order to update an extension you should do the following:
- close Dreameaver;
- remove the extension from the extension manager;
- install the new version;
- clear the cache file;
- open Dreamweaver and you are ready to go.
To disable that pop-up you must tick the "Don't show this again" checkbox and click "Ok".
The javascript error that you report above is an old issue with templates that we have fixed in the latest version. I think that once you get the cache cleared it should start working. If not, please send me a copy of the template at support at extendstudio.com
Regards,
Andrei
