As a newbie I tested the freedownload of the creative menu on a test page last week, and everything worked fine. I then purchased the software and got the creative image show package free with it, so tried this out too. The original test menu works but the new version since purchasing does not display - nor does the image show.rnI have tried deleting the image show to see if this is at fault but still get nothing , can you help?rnTesting locally on my machine both the menu and the image show appear correctly.rnwww.lilykelsey.co.uk is the page where then menu should be.... rnAny help would be gratefully received!rnThanks

Hi Sally,

After purchasing and editing the menus, have you uploaded the files on the testing server? This includes the file you are working on and the 'includes' folder.

Let me know,
Cristian

Hi Cristian
The includes and files were showing on the testing server, but I reloaded them after removing the image show and now the menu is working. I haven't tried re loading the image show as will take it one step at a time this time around!
The menu is showing as expected in safari but each menu item has "null" infront of it in Opera - is there a fix for this problem?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Sally,

Re null on Opera - are you on a MAC?

Thanks,

It's a bug that we discovered late last week from users feedback - needs to be solved in a new release - should have a solution early next week.

From our statistics there aren't a lot of Opera users on Mac so hopefully the damage is minimal until we get it fixed.

By the way are you using Opera on a constant base or it's just for testing?

Just for testing really - I use firefox and safari most of the time. Is there anything else I should know about regarding the menus because I'm on a mac?
Thanks for your help.

Not really, should work on all environments and there aren't any particular settings.

Thanks,

Sally,

Do we need more documentation? What do you miss most when using the product the first time? Here is what we have so far as documentation: http://www.extendstudio.com/creative-dw-menus-pack/documentation.html

Would really love to hear your thoughts!

Hi Cristian,

I'm using the menus on a complex project I have to finish in a couple of weeks, so I'll let you know how I get on using the existing documentation.

Thanks

Hi Sally,

Thank you for your response. This is a known bug but we have had troubles during the last few days to reproduce. I just tried on Opera 9.20 and everything seems to work.

Could you test the menus again and see if they work in that version of Opera? Also, what Flash Player version do you have?

Thanks,
Andrei

Hi Andrei

I tested again yesterday and still experienced the "null" problem in opera - I'm using flash 9.

Thanks

Sally
