Creative DW Menu Pack is a suite of Dreamweaver extensions that seamlessly blends the flexibility of DHTML and the Flash look and feel to create beautifully web site menus. The extension comes with over 30 built in skins that can be customized to suit the design (colors, fonts, size) and include a smart resize system that preserves round corners and the gradient fills when you change the menu size.

Is it possible to create more menu levels with Creative Menus, Dreamweaver? I can physically add them in the editor but can't get them to display when publishing them. Also, will you be adding a preview feature for us Mac users anytime soon?

Hello Lawrence,

In the Creative DW Drop Down Menus and Creative DW Vertical menus you can have as many submenu levels as you want. Unfortunately this cant be said about the Tabbed menu which allows you only one submenu level.

What do you mean by saying that you cant get them to display? Do you see only links instead of the menu? One of the main reasons is that you dont have Flash player installed, or you dont have the includes and paths uploaded. But in order to understand what is happening, it would be best if you could send us the link, so that we could see the problem for ourselves.

Regarding the preview feature, we will add it in the next release that will be available in the near future.

Sincerely,
Monica Chitu.

You have answered my question. Only one level of sub menus are allowed in the Tabbed menu. I was able to add additional levels in the editor but of course level 3 was not displayed after publishing.

This is an unfortunate limitation that I didn't expect. I would rather have purchased the traditional horizontal menu.

Is there something you can do to allow me to have the other license instead of the tabbed license. Your website did not make this clear, and when I read the discription page of the product it tells me I can have as many sub menus as I wish.

Thank you.

The link here is wher eI found the discription. As you can see it is the overview specifically for the Tabbed Menu.

Hello David,

First of all, I would like to express our gratefulness for noticing and letting us know of this documentation issue. This problem will be taken care of by our new technical documentation team in the near future.

We will change your license of the Creative Tabbed Menu to the Creative Dropdown Menu. We will send you a confirmation email when this will be done.

Kind regards,
Lavinia Iancu

Hello Michael,

Each time a change is being made locally, you need to re-upload the page in which the change was made, and also upload the Includes? folder again. To be certain that it works, please clear the cache memory in your browser, before viewing the page.

Kind regards,
Lavinia Iancu
