Last week we've bought the Creative FlashFX bundle and by using it for the first time everything worked smooth and promosing. A few days later working with the plugins things are getting worse to complete disaster. For example the TextFX v1 component won't work properly anymore when publishing the swf. It randomly leaves certain letters away, the font is fine i checked this! When using the TextFX- and MovieFX v2 the preview functionality gives an error and won't start up. And least but worse is that Flash CS3 works very slow now with lots of spinning wheels and crashes of the complete program when using version 2 of the components. When deleting the FX v2 components restores this problem. Last week i've already reported the issue with TextFX v1 but i didn't recieve any answer or solution yet!? Today i've emailed you about the preview error, it stays quiet? All problems are already mentioned on this forum so these problems are in my opinion major bugs. I'm workin' on a MacPro 2x2.8Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon (system Mac OSX 10.5.7) with 4GB of RAM which would be enough i might hope. A quick response with some satisfying solutions and explination why these problems occur would be great !

Hello,
First of all I want to apologize for the lack of responses from our part until now. We promise it won’t happen again. You’ve reported many problems and I had to do some research to be able to answer to your questions.
The problems that you are reporting are indeed major and you have all the right to be frustrated, but we won’t leave it this way. If we will not solve your problems until the end of this week we will issue a refund for your purchase.
You said in your first post that you had no problems working with the components at start but then the problems started to occur. Have you made any modifications to your Flash program before those problems started to occur ? Have you tried reinstalling the product after the errors started to appear ? The problem with ThextFX v1 missing characters happens on all fonts or just on one font ?
I await your answers.

Answer: the first time it seemed to work fine, no font problem and even the preview in v2 worked. Allthough i didn't use the component at its full potential because i had to experiment first so maybe the problems were there but no noticable because of this? And no i didn't change anything within Flash CS3.

Answer: yes, made no difference
The problem with ThextFX v1 missing characters happens on all fonts or just on one font ?

We are currently remaking tests on MAC with Flash CS 3 and try to reproduce the problems that you are experiencing. We will try to develop a fix package as soon as possible.

Comment: you've got til the end of this week, that's what we discussed.
For the font problem on TextFX v1, please send us a FLA file at support at extendstudio.com.
Answer: I don't have the file anymore because i deleted the problem and made a workaround with another component from Flasheff.
'Good' to notice is that the preview in the version 2 worked again but unfortunatly the slugginess is still there and eventually Flash CS3 shuts down by itself! This is really the most annoying and worrying part! It seems that besides the slugginess the problems are random in case of the preview issue.
