Hello,rnI'm wondering how I can sync a sound to occur to an event. In TextFX or MovieFX under the "actions" tab we can add a sound, but the "event type" is only press, rollover, release, rollout, doubleclick. I want the sound to start playing when the animation/event starts, and end on it's own. I have not found a way to do this...does anyone know? Please help.rnrnThank you in Advance,rn

Hello,
You are right, you can’t add a sound that will play only on the wait portion. I will talk to the development team of a possible feature addition for the next package. What you can do instead is to use the timeline to play the component. You can insert your MovieFX or TextFX inside of a movieclip and then expand the timeline of that movieclip so it covers the length of all the effects (delay + in + wait+ out). Create a new layer and on the frame number ‘delay+in‘ and insert the sound you want on that frame. And let it play until the end of the wait, or as long as you need. If you want the movieFX to loop let the timeline as it is. If you don’t want it to loop then you must put a “stop()” action on the last frame.
If you have any more questions please write to us again.
