Hello,
I understand that you have our license installed on CS 3 and that you now wish to install it on CS 4 as well. In order for the license to work you will need to reset your license code first. Go to "My products" in our website and then click on the "Reset license" button correspondent to the MovieFX v2 component.
If i didn't understood corectly the problem, i apologize and please write us back.
Best regards,

Hello,
No, you can't use it on both versions on the same time. They work like two different installations and you will have to reset the license each time you want to use on the other version. You can reset your license as many times as you want. There is no limitation.

Hello,
If the license is not registered then you don't need to reset and you can simply use it to register your component.
In case you bought Flash FX, please make sure that you use the Flash FX license and not the MovieFX v1 license.
