Following our tests, the latest Creative Movie FX v2 (version 2.0.4.72) is fully compatible with Flash CS5. There are no updates necessary if you already have version 2.0.4.72 installed (you can check the version number in the Adobe Extension Manager).
If you have any problems using the Creative Movie FX v2 on Flash CS5, please reply to this forum thread.
Thanks,

I am using the movie effect 2 in CS5, however when I set an effect, it does not seem to do it to the whole clip, just a portion of the clip. The image is 550 pixels by 300 pixels, but the effect will only act on a third of that are, and at the end of the action the whole image will suddenly pop up without going through the required effect.
I have clicked and un clicked auto mask and this does not have an effect. I dragged the effect around the whole clip and this only magnifies the clip.
I can’t find in your documentation on how to have the effect act upon the whole clip instead of just a small part of it, except the section about Automask.
Am I missing something here?
Brent

Hi Brent,
You need to place the content that's inside the movieclip at the 0,0 coordinates.

I am getting this error when using CS5:
/Users/stichllm/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash CS5/en_US/Configuration/Extend/Classes/xtd/FLAnima/XTDAssets/Plane.as, Line 38 1000: Ambiguous reference to Plane.
Any ideas?

Hello Achim,
You have some other script in the FLA?
Do you have other components installed in your Flash?

Hello,
What version of Flash do you have and what operating system?
Could you please try to see if you can replicate the error inside another FLA file?
