The simplest text effect is incredibly slow when exported. If I add audio to a timeline that also contants a TextFX v2 component, Flash is even slower and will eventually crash. Can someone help?

The component installed fine, and I was able to create various text effects and preview them, but when I export a movie with a text effect--even just one text effect---the effect is super sluggish (not at all reflective of in, wait and out time parameters).

I'm also getting repeat crashes if a moview with a TextFX v2 component and audio on the timeline is left open for more than 5 minutes.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the component. I'm on Mac OSX 10.5.8 using Adobe Flash CS3. So far I like the effects, but they're useless if I can't export them or use them with audio tracks.

Hi,

What frame rate are you using? If you use a low frame rate the effects might seem slow because of that.

Also, could you, please, send us a FLA file to take a look at it?
