Hi,

This may be a stupid question, but how do you make a creative text loop only twice or maybe 3 times instead of all the time. I have a swf file with an image and words on top of it and I only want it to loop twice or maybe 3 times. Can someone help me please..

Hello again,

Well, the simplest way is to use the timeline to your advantage. Set the total duration of your TextFX animation and then set it to loop. After that, on the timeline, insert a new keyframe on the same layer that has the TextFX component. Insert it after a number of frames at least equal with the double of the duration of the TextFX animation (the duration of the TextFX it’s not represented in frames but are almost equivalent).

As an example, if you have a TextFX instance on frame 10 with a duration of 50 frames and you want it to loop two times, you should insert a new keyframe on the frame 120 of the same layer.
The idea is that you leave the TextFX instance on the stage exactly the time needed for two loops, afterwards you remove it and it won’t loop anymore, obviously :D.
