Dear Sirs:
I have both V1 and V2 of Creative TextFX.
I have opened, validated and used V2.
Works great!
1.) What about V1? Does it have effects which are
not available in V2?
2.) I have downloaded the V1 mxp 110. It is showing
up in the Extension Manager. However, I cannot find
it to even activate the registration key which I have.
Where do I look for V1 in Flash?
3.) Is V2 also different in concept, layout, and approace
from V1? In other words, when I properly load and register
V1, will I have the same "conrol panel" that I have in V2?

Hello James,
I will try to answer each one of your questions in order.
1. In the second version of the component we’ve kept the best effects from the first version and added new effects. All the effects have been remade with our new AS 3 tweening engine.
2. TextFX v1 is an actionscript 2 component. You will find it in the components list in AS 2 documents.
3. TextFX v2 is the new version of TextFX. It has improved usability, effects and workflow. The control panel is completely different. In V1 you have a flash panel in the Component Inspector tab instead of the Flex built TextFX v2 panel.
