Is there a reason that text doesn't show up when exporting to an AVI? I'm interested in knowing why this doesn't work. Please advise if there is a setting to make this work.

Hello Nathan,

The components use Actionscript for the effects and it is ignored when the AVI file is created. Actionscript can only be executed by the Flash Player.

Well I did notice that when I export as a Quick Time movie that the text effects are included, however when I do the FIRST frame displays "Please open the TextFX v2 Panel located in Window|Other Panels" then cuts to a blank screen and then starts the text effects.

What I did was export to .mov file and then convert that file to a .avi

I hope this helps anyone else who may have this issue in the future.
