Hello
I am trying to use Text FX version 1 (AS 2.0) on a Macintosh. Every time I pull the component onto the screen and open Component Inspector it quits. I am using an AS 2.0 file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does the same thing.
Help!?

Hello,
Creative TextFX v1 works only in Flash 8 or CS 3. If you have Flash CS4 it won't work.

Unfortunately I have the same problem when using V2 in CS4.
I am running 10.5.6 OSX
More information if you need it....

Hello again Justin,
First of all sorry for the late reply, the forum scripts didn’t work and didn’t announced me that you replied to the last post.
We cannot give you a refund for Creative TextFX v1 because you received it as a free product, and it’s stated that it doesn’t work in CS 4.
Please give me more information about the error that you receive with TextFX v2. Why isn’t it working ? You have the highest priority on the support at the moment. I’m waiting for your reply. If you would like we could have a desktop sharing to get this to work.

Hello Andrei,
I'm experiencing the same exact problem as Justin: Flash CS4 crashes every time I open the component inspector and pull Creative TextFX (v2) component on stage.
I'm using Mac OSX 10.5.6.
Hoping there's a way to fix this.

Hello,
Have you tried to insert the component in a new document, it still crashes ?
If you are getting this crash only inside an old document please send us a copy of it at support at extendstudio.com.
We will also need more information about you operating system ( language, Flash version, Extension Manager version).

After removing every component I had installed and reinstalling TextFX component it seems to be working now. Thanks for your help anyway!
