I just purchased the bundle and everytime I try to use it, it crashes Flash.
Tried in both CS4 & CS5.
Windows 7 32bit.

Hello,
Creative TextFX v2 is an ActionScript 3 component. You can use it only in ActionScript 3 documents. You probably try to use Creative TextFX v1 which is the ActionScript 2 version that has been discontinued and it's not compatible with Flash CS 4 and CS 5.

Hello, I need to use TextFX v1, the ActionScript 2 version for banners and I specifically bought your product because of that. However, nowhere was it mentioned that it will not work with Flash CS4 and CS5

Hello Robert,
TextFX v1 has been discontinued and we no longer offer updates or fixes for it.
That's why we give it for free along with the TextFX v2 component.

Downloaded the evaluation version of TextFX V2.
The extension manager reports that it is correctly installed (Ver 2.0.586)
However under Window/Components it's not listed.
The document is AS3.
CS4/ Win 7 32bit
whats wrong ?

Ahhh... Nevermind.
Problem solved.
It must be installed WITHIN Flash Cs4 and NOT using the standalone extension manager.
