Hallo,
Sven

Hello,
You must use the timeline to achieve this. The idea is that you need a new instance for each text. We have a couple of tutorials set up for this usage. Take a look at this pages:
- for TextFX v2 : http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-textfx-v2/documentation/tutorials/how-to-chain-textfx-instances-in-order-to-create-a-complete-banner.html
- for TextFX: http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-textfx/documentation/tutorials/how-to-create-a-chain-effect-(timeline).html
If you need more help just tell me.

Hello,
i will wright in english, perhabs the german could be a problem. i don`t know. :))
Can i sent you my actionscript banner and you have a look on it? It would be very nice, because the tutorial you posted is a little bit overwhelmed for me.
The effects of the script are so great, but i need it implicit with more then one textmodul.

Hi Sven,
Sorry, I did not have the opportunity to look on the FLA file yesterday. I just finished creating a looping banner with three texts.
This is how I did it. First of all, I've created a movie clip that will hold all the TextFX components and placed on the stage. After that, I've created three TextFX components that have the same effects and durations. The difference between them is the delay time so that they don't start all at once.
After I set up all the effects inside that initial movie clip, expand the main timeline so that it's bigger than the sum of the components durations. The movie will loop by default when it gets to the end of the timeline. This will cause all the effects to loop.
If you have any more questions let me know.

Ok, this is somehow to difficult to me.
With the script himself i can make all the effects i want, but i still not figured out how to add such a textbox.
Allright, now there 3 of these textboxes in my FLA File, but how to get another one?
Am I really so hard of understanding.? I don´t believe it...
I even take about 2 hours to get this damnit textbock in this script. Nothing works.

Hello,
If you want to use the component directly from actionscript this tutorial might help you out: http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-textfx-v2/documentation/tutorials/how-to-configure-creative-textfx-from-as.html
If you want to insert another TextFX in that FLA, just drag one on the stage inside the movie clip that holds them all. Then configure it to have a delay that allows all the effects in front of it to finish. You will also have to increase the number of frames on the main timeline to accommodate the increased duration.
You said in your email I think that you want to make three text boxes that appear in the same time but on different places on that banner. You can do that by using three TextFX components that have the same delay value. Having three separate components you can place those texts wherever you want on the stage.

Hello,
thank you very much, no it works. I make my textblocks as i want them. great!!!
The banner i made is now completed and build into my website.
The first minutes it works great, but then the textmodules go into each other and began to jerk. it seems like the delay does not function anymore. i don´t know.
it is also strange that my firefox (3.6 final) goes to nearly 300MB working memory in the task manager. this is not normally.
perhabs you can have a look on it with your system and reproduce my problem.
The website is: www.mittelschule-floeha.de (the banner is on top of the site).
thanks for your approach.
regards,
sven rothe
