I continue to get the:
SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list
error message whenever I try and use the trial version of Fusion Charts. This occurs first when pressing the insert simple chart button, then most every time I press any buttons within the interface.
It does not insert the charts into my html, only receive the error message. I press OK on the alert box but often it comes back over and over. When it finally goes away, no code is inserted into my html.
I'm on an iMac with OS 10.5.7, intel processor, and Dreamweaver CS3 for Mac.

Additionally, I searched your forum looking for a solution and noticed a similar error message in the Charts forum, but the solution of deleting the Dreamweaver cache doesn't work. Same result. Lots of JavaScript error messages but no chart.
I'm having the same issue as Russell C from BP Design Group.
Did you ever solve his issue?

Hello Brian,
Could you please tell me what language you have on your operating system ? This is a very odd problem and it’s harder to find the source. A desktop sharing session might help us a lot on finding your problem and making any necessary changes to the extension in order to make it work on your MAC.
Oh, one more possible cause for the problem can be Rosetta, a software created by Apple to make older software work better on the new platforms. Running Dreamweaver using Rosetta can cause problems. Please check if you use this software from the properties panel of the Dreamweaver application.

I use an American iMac, with a 3.06 GHZ Intel processor and the latest Mac OS. I do not have Rosetta on my computer.

I received the following JavaScript error after loading FusionCharts software, it will not let me continue or create a chart.
ERROR:
"Unable to open script file "c:Program FilesAdobeAdobde Dreamweaver CS4ConfigurationSharedExtendFusionChartsJSDynamicFusionCharts.js
Pleaase assist.. This is brand new software, just installed, however I am under time constraint to get files (charts) built.

Hello,
Have you tried a Dreamweaver cache cleaning procedure? Follow this link for details:
http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-tabbed-menu/documentation/faq/faq2.html#cache_procedure
However if the problem it's still there, you will have to create an empty text file with the name: DynamicFusionCharts.js. Put this file in the JS folder by following this path: [user]AppDataRoamingAdobeDreamweaverCS4en_USConfigurationSharedExtendFusionChartsJS.
