I wasn't happy with the extension I purchased so uninstalled it and asked the developer for a refund. I have yet to hear back from him. This complete lack of customer service will ensure that I will never buy anything from Extend Studio in the future. This is unaceptable to get absolutely no reply after days have past. I may have to go the "Call Roman

Funny - and now my original license code has been deactivated so I can't even use the product I paid for. No refund issued. Message to Extend Studio: Please process my refund request immediately, or make sure that my license is still valid, otherwise I'll have to take other steps to protect my rights as a customer.

Hello Sarka,
First of all let me apologize for the inconvenient caused and I deeply regret what happened.

We are always taking great care of our clients and a lot of our energy goes into support and this is not just a statement it is backed by our customers and by the many forms of support that we are offering:
- Forum
- Email
- Direct feedback/support directly from the extension

Unfortunately we have experienced some problems with our hosting company and some of our emails from 24, 25 and 26 were dropped. We can say this because there were other customers that wrote us again complaining that we hadnt replied to them.
If you wrote us during this period it will be great if you can resend the email now.
Until then we have gave you a refund even if you dont know if it corresponds to our refund policy.

Kind Regards,
Catalin Serban

Regarding the license code my best guess is that you have received ERROR code 201.

The issue appears when you are trying to use the license on second computer or trying to reinstall the extension. Please note that the license is a one user/one device and cannot be used simultaneously on two devices.

In order to transfer the license from one computer to another you have to reactivate the serial number, to do that you have to:
Login to you Extend account
After that go to Account> My products
Click on the correspondent Reset Key button
Now you can install the product on the new device

Hi. How does one completely remove your extension from the system? I deleted it from Extension Manager but it still says it's installed even though it's no longer showing in the list. I use OS X 10.5 Leopard.

Hi,
I think that you have multiple version of Flash or Dreamweaver installed. ( E.G: Flash 8 & CS3 or DW 8 & CS3).

In order to uninstall an extension or a component from one, you have to deactivate it from all. This is not an Extend Studio product related issue but rather an Extension Manager issue.

Also if you have multiple version of FL or DW please note that you can use the extension only in one at any time. If you want to transfer the license you need to reactivate it using the steps described in my post from above.

Hi,
Are your products compatible with Mac OS 10.5 Leopard? I can't even see the extension listed in the Extension Manager but when it tells me that it's still there. How do I wipe it off my hard disk without using the Extension Manager? It seems to be stuck in ther e somewhere but I can't access it.

Hi,
Our products are compatible with Mac OS 10.5 Leopard but there might be incompatibilities between Leopard & Extension manager from Adobe, which has issues sometimes.

Our Dreamweaver extensions and Flash components are installed trough the Extension manager, as it is the case with all extension & components made by everyone. So, in order to uninstall them you need to use the Extension Manager.

Actually the *.mxp file are archives and without the extension manager you cant do anything with them. The *mxp files are compatible with anything that the Extension Manager & Dreamweaver are compatible.
To delete the extension without the Extension Manager you have to delete by hand a few hundred files placed in different locations by the Extension Manager.

It will be great if you can answer all these questions because I may be able to assist you but you should also contact the support from Adobe because is in there competence to solve this:

- How many versions of DW do you have installed and which versions?
- In which do you have the extension activated from the Extension Manager?
- Do you have the latest version of extension manager?

Kind Regards,
Catalin Serban

I have Dreamweaver 8 and CS3. The Extension Manager is the latest version available from Adobe. The extension has been installed for the CS3 environment but is not showing up in the list of extensions or in my Dreamweaver. Please send me the full list of places I need to remove it from.
