Attention Extend Studio team:

Throughout your web site, throughout your product, and throughout your support documentation, there are countless spelling errors. Since you have such high quality product, I highly recommend you go back and correct all these errors, since it takes away from your professionalism.

Also, this forum needs to be upgraded, so we can edit our posts and fill out profiles for ourselves for networking.

Lastly, it doesn no reader/poster here any good when your support staff posts "I sent you an email with the answer" and it is not posted in the forum. You MUST put a copy of the email answer on the forum post, so that we all can see it as well. We also need any links, attached files, etc., that are part of the solution, if appicable.

Thank you, and keep up the great work!

Hello Mike,

First of all we would like to let you know that we appreciate the interest you show in our products and to thank you for your feedback, input and involvement.

In what concerns our website, we are aware of the issues presented by you and we are currently working on a new company website, which will be ready in the near future. Correcting the spelling errors you referred to was not one of our main focus points so far, as we concentrated on the quality of our existing products and on designing and creating new ones. Nevertheless, when the new website will be ready, it will be better structured and easier to navigate, better designed, the forum will be improved, and all the problems the current site has will be taken care of.

We are also improving our product documentation, making it more accessible. For example, you can check out the product documentation for the Creative Flash Scroller (http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-flash-scroller/), which has been recently updated.

Regarding the forum posts, some communication is confidential, and other things cannot be posted on the forum, because they come with many specific files. We have created tutorials that will soon be available on the specific product pages for most of the issues addressed on the forum.

Furthermore, next week we will release two great Dreamweaver products, and later on this month, another Dreamweaver product which will be free.

Regards,
Lavinia Iancu

Great products. I do hope the web site will be redesigned soon.

It looks good, but is difficult to navigate since the browser back/forwared are not functional, and you can't bookmark a specific point in the site. I constantly have to return to the home page and navigate back since there are only a few places that have a back button, Since the site works on a single URL I expect your SEO is really poor too. IE/Firefox spell-check is disabled because of the wierd input boxes. If you use standard input boxes, you get spell check for free.

I also hate having my full name posted for anyone to see. I'd much prefer to have a "screen" name. I'm fine with you knowing who I am, just not the entire world.

The forum is also really weak. It really needs a search function, the ability to email me when a response is made, let me edit my prior posts, etc. You might look at one of the forum software packages like Vbulletin, my personal favorite, but there are many other good forum packages available. It must be a lot of work to maintain your own home-grown design!

I hope this helps with your redesign.

The Creative DW Drop Down Menu extension is causing Dreamweaver CS3 to crash in Leopard on both the MacBook Pro (intel) and Mac G4 desktop. I have tried it in a clean version of Dreamweaver with no 3rd party extensions to see if there might be some conflict with these - still crashes. Occasionally it will work after a reboot - but only a few times at most when creating new menu - never when trying to edit existing menu......My suspicion is that this product was not testing thouroughly with Leopard........any solutions???

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback on this problem . Our products have been tested for MAC but there are still random problems that appear and are reported by our customers. We deal with each issue as soon as they appear and try to solve them as soon as possible.

Thank you,
Andrei Rinciog
