Configuring Chart Parameters > Tooltip

Tooltip is an exciting feature of FusionCharts for Dreamweaver, a tooltip is displayed whenever the mouse hovers over a data-plot.

Configurable properties of the tooltip can be accessed from the 'Tool Tip' panel which is located under the 'General Options' tab.

Following configurable parameters are available in the 'Tool Tip' panel

• showTooltip: Using the 'showToolTip' parameter you can turn on or turn off the tool tip feature. The tool tip feature is active by default.
• seriesNameInTooltip: When turned on, the 'seriesNameInTooltip' parameter displays the series name in the tool tip.
• toolTipBorderColor: Using this parameter you can customize the border color of the tool tip.
• toolTipBgColor: Using this parameter you can customize the background color of the tool tip.

• toolTipSepChar: Using this parameter you can choose the character which is used for separating two values on a tool tip. The ',' character is the default separating character. However other characters such as ';' or ':' may be used.

Styles can be used to enhance the appearance of the tool tip. Tooltip styles can be defined in the 'Styles' panel using the 'Tooltip Styles Definition' button.
