The FusionCharts for Dreamweaver extension can be installed using the Adobe Extension Manager, a tool which gets automatically installed at the time of installing Adobe Dreamweaver. If you don’t have Adobe Extension Manger on your computer – you can download it from the following resources:

The following steps will guide you through the process of installing and registering the extension.

  1. Open Adobe Extension Manager, from the drop down list which is located in the toolbar - choose the version of Dreamweaver which is currently installed on your computer. Note, FusionCharts for DW can only be used with Dreamweaver CS3 and above; so, if you are using an older version of Dreamweaver you would have to upgrade to CS3 or above.

  2. Select Install Extension from the file menu or click the Install Extension button - which is the first button from the left in the tool bar. A file selection dialogue box will be displayed, in the dialogue box locate the .mpx file from the folder where you have extracted the downloaded package.

  3. You would be presented with a disclaimer, after reading the terms & conditions of the disclaimer - click the Accept button to continue with the installation. An alert box will be displayed when the installation is over.
