Advanced Chart Features > Div Lines

Divisional line (Div Line) originates from a point on the Y axis and traverses the entire width of the canvas, a chart can have many div lines originating from points that are situated at regular intervals on the Y axis. Div Lines aid in data interpretation – by providing a visual framework which assists the audience of the chart in the process of matching the height of the data plot with the Y axis scale.

Div Lines can be configured from the 'Div Lines & Grids' panel which is located in the 'Chart Selection' screen. The 'Div Lines & Grids' panel will be displayed only when 'Show Advanced options' check box has been selected.

The appearance of the div lines and grids can be enhanced by using styles - styles for the div lines and grids can be configured in their respective 'Style Definition' panel. To open the 'Style' panel for div lines use the 'Div Lines Style Setting' button and to define style for grids use 'H Grid Style Setting' button.
