Configuring Chart Parameters > Data Plot

Data Plot refers to the plot of those values which have been classified as series. Each cell in our data table represents a plot-point in our various graphs.

Properties of the Data Plot can be configured from the 'Data Plot' panel. Some of the options listed in the 'Data Plot' panel, may be chart specific (i.e. they may be applicable only to certain charts). The ‘Data Plot’ panel displays only those chart specific options that are applicable to the currently selected chart.

Following configurable parameters are available in the 'Data Plot' panel:

Styles can be used to enhance the appearance of the data plots. Styles are defined in the 'Styles Definition' panel which can be opened using the 'DataPlot Styles Definition' button. Following are some examples of charts showing stylized data plots.

Common gradient color (333333) applied to the entire plot

Styles give an enhanced gradient effect to data plots

Advanced Parameters

If the 'Show advanced options' check box is selected - some additional parameters will be displayed in the 'Data Plot' panel.

Following advanced parameters are available in the 'Data Plot' panel:
