Configuring Chart Parameters > Padding & Margins

FusionCharts for Dreamweaver allows you to configure the margins of the chart and also manipulate the padding of various elements such as data plots, captions, labels etc. Chart Margins and padding of the elements can be controlled from the "Chart Paddings & Margins" panel which is located in the 'Chart Selection' screen. The 'Chart Paddings & Margins' panel will be displayed only if the 'Show advanced options' check box has been selected.

Following configurable parameters are available in the 'Chart Paddings & Margins' panel:

• chartLeftMargin: Using this parameter you can set the width of the left margin of the chart.
• chartRightMargin: Using this parameter you can set the width of the right margin of the chart.
• chartTopMargin: Using this parameter you can set the height of the top margin of the chart.
• chartBottomMargin: Using this parameter you can set the height of the bottom margin of the chart.

• xAxisNamePadding: Using this parameter you can specify the padding for the X axis name.
• yAxisNamePadding: Using this parameter you can specify the padding for the Y axis name.
• yAxisValuesPading: Using this parameter you can specify the padding for the Y axis values.

• captionPadding: Using this parameter you can specify the padding for the caption.
• labelPadding: Using this parameter you can specify the padding for the data lables.
• legendPadding: Using this parameter you can specify the padding for the legned.
• ValuePadding: Using this parameter you can specify the padding for the data values.



Value padding set to 20 pixels

• plotSpacePercent: Using this parameter you can configure the length of the gap that separates two data plots.
