The interface of the product was designed to offer the user the possibility to access easily and fast any of the Creative TextFX’s functionalities; in the same time, the way it is divided in sections allows the user to employ all the product’s options in a natural way, without unnecessary pauses in the workflow.
In order to start the work with Creative TextFX, all you have to do is drag it on the stage; an option which is particularly helpful is the live preview – the changes done in the interface reflect in the component placed on the stage, refreshing at every two seconds.
As the interface opens, there are four buttons on its top part: Buy, Register, Documentation and Feedback. Buy links the component to our online shop from where you can buy the Creative TextFX component or any of our other components, while Register allows you to modify the license information of the installed component. Documentation opens the complete product documentation and Feedback allows the user to contact the Extend Studio Support department.
Another part of the interface which comes in front of the line when starting to use Creative TextFX is the Time Manager. From here the type of effect which will be used can be selected: an In Effect, a Wait Effect or an Out Effect or a combination of the three. Also from here the duration of the effects or the delay time until the component will start can be set. What is especially helpful about this section is that it's visible at all times in the interface, offering control ever the effect structure and also ever the duration of each of the used elements.
After enabling the effect elements, these can be configured from the three tabs corresponding to their names. In order to simplify the workflow, a preview tab is available for all the effects and the desired state of the effect can be achieved without having to test the entire Flash movie. Moreover, each effect configuration can be saved as a preset for later use; presets use is optimized in Creative TextFX, as the user has a lot of control over them through the “Manage presets” section of the interface.
Another section of the interface is the “Actions” one; from here effects and actions triggered by mouse behavior can be inserted. What’s the best about it is that there is no coding required for Creative TextFX to become mouse-event sensible.
Filters can be applied on the movie clip from the homonym tag of the interface.
