Configuring the effect structure

The elements that can be added in the effect structure and their duration can be configured from the Time Manager.

The Time Manager

The Time Manager

For each of the effect elements there is a corresponding check-point and a text field which holds the element’s duration, in frames. Also available here are the delay control, similar to the “Delay time” parameter in the “General properties” area. The last text field which can be spotted here is the “Total duration”; this read-only text field contains Creative MovieFX’s duration (In plus Wait plus Out), in frames.

Above the elements’ checkboxes there is a horizontal bar containing the Creative MovieFX timeline. Between the effect elements there are bars which can be dragged with the mouse for a fine tweaking of the effect elements' durations.

As effect elements are enabled/disabled through the Time Manager, their corresponding configuration tabs switch between active/inactive positions.

In the bottom-right side of the Time Manager section the Loop option is available to be enabled/disabled; as its name states, this option makes the effect run continuously in an endless loop. If you would like the movie clip to be invisible before Creative MovieFX starts playing, enable the “Start hidden” parameter.
