Adjusting the masking options (Mask Tab)
Creative Flash Scroller acts like an automask to the targeted movie clip (the scrolled item is automatically masked by the component). Besides the automask you can either place a Vertical or Horizontal transparent mask on the Scroll Area, either a custom mask from the stage.

Disabling automask
If you set the disable automask on you can see the entire movie clip and not only the scrollable area:

Adjust the mask options
The transparent masks
- None means that the scroller will appear as default, without any changes.
- The "Horizontal" and "Vertical" masks mean that the scrolling area will have an alpha gradient aspect, with transparent character in the middle and opaque (white) character on the sides (top and bottom for horizontal, left and right for vertical).
- "Opaque zone size", configures the "Vertical" and the "Horizontal" masks; the lowest value (0) means that the visible (transparent) area will be minimum, while the highest value (100) enlarges the visible area to maximum. Nevertheless, the horizontal/vertical mask is kept even for the extreme values (0/100). This parameter represents a percentage (of the scrolling area).
Custom Mask
To add a custom mask to the scroller, you need to:
- have a movie clip that will serve as the mask
- drag the movie clip over the Scrollarea component on the stage
- fill in the custom mask field from the interface with the mask instance name
