In this section you can find a list of our customers' most frequent questions regarding Creative DW Vertical Menu. As soon as our Support team gathers new questions from your emails and from yours posts on the Forum, they will be centralized here. Q1: Why isn't all my webpage content visible (at the top of the layout)?

A1: Internet Explorer users might see the web page content disappearing above the menu. This is an Internet Explorer Bug and can be easily fix by setting the height of the containing DIV or Table. The height can be 100%, em or written in px.

Q2: Why isn't the "Update in all pages" option working on certain pages?

A2: If you rename a file that contains a Creative DW Vertical Menu you will have to edit the menu and click the "Ok" button (this is necessary so that the product can keep track of the new file name). Otherwise the "Update in all pages" feature will not work; the same applies to "Delete in all pages".

Q3: How Do I Install the Extension?

The Extension will be installed trough Adobe Extension Manager, you just have to unzip the package and click on the *.mxp file.

Q4: How Do I Register the Extension?

In order to register the extension, after installation, open the Dreamweaver and click on the “Add a Drop Down Menu”. Here you will be prompted to register your copy of Creative DW Drop Down Menu using the license key received by email. The license key and the download link can be found in the email received from Extend Studio and also on www.extenstudio.com under My Products from the Account section ( please login in order to view your products details)

Q5: Where do I find the Extension?

The extension can be found in the Creative Menus Toolbar Category from the Dreamweaver Insert Toolbar. The Insert Toolbar can be opened by pressing Ctrl+F2 or select Insert from the Window menu; It’s a tool bar that is contains multiple categories. You need to select the Creative Menus category in order to see Creative Menus Toolbar.

Q6: Where Is The Documentation?

The documentation can be found on the right sidebar of the extensions interface. Also the documentation can be available online.

Q7: Multiple Licenses

The license is a one user/one device and cannot be used simultaneously on two devices. In order to transfer the license from one computer to another you have to reset the serial number, to do that you have to:

Because it’s a one user/one device license the product will not work anymore on the other computer when you transferred the license.

Q8: I have a JavaScript error after installing the Full version. The demo version worked ok.

Before using Creative DW Menus v 1.7.x please delete Dreamweaver FileCache file.The location of the FileCache.dat file (WinFileCache-[number].dat for Windows and MacFileCache-[number].dat for Mac) depends on your operating system and your version of Dreamweaver.

Q10: How do I Reinstall the extension?

Before successfully reinstalling the extension you need to reset your license. In order to do that you have to:

  1. Login to you Extend account
  2. After that go to Account> My products
  3. Click on the correspondent Reset Key button
  4. Now you can install the product on the new device

Please note that if you don’t reset the license you will receive ERROR CODE 201
