Text general settings

After inserting the text item, you can configure it using the interface sections under the show’s structure: “Text General Settings” and “Text Effects”.

The first options you can configure in the “Text General Settings” section are related to the starting position of the text effect in two coordinates – x and y. The “Alignment point” option is actually the transformation point from Flash and can be set “Left”, “Center” or “Right”; actually, this is the point with respect to which the initial position of the effect will be set-up. The last parameter you can set-up in this section is the “Wait”-ing time, expressed in frames; it indicates the time duration the effect will take before running (it’s triggered when the corresponding image item is activated).
