Configuring your image items

From this section you can configure the structure of your show by choosing the image items and the effects applied on them.

The first thing we have to do when creating an image show is to insert the images into the show; you can do that using the first green plus sign. Add as many images as you like (a window opens and you can browse for the images you want, click OK and then click on the green plus again); you can edit them later as well by using the green-pen-like icon. With the red sign you can delete images, and with the two arrows you can change their order (move them up or down in the hierarchy of the show). In the right side of the slide show structure you can see a preview of every slide which appears as you navigate through them.

When the structure of your show is set, set-up the IN and OUT effects that will accompany each slide; in the two drop-down lists you can find many effects, each of them having a configuration panel you can access by pressing the “Customize effect” button situated next to your effect. The Duration parameter, measured in frames (one second equals thirty-five frames), specifies how much the corresponding effect will take to run. All the effects available with our product are described in the “Available image effects” chapter of the documentation.

Slide delay refers to the time the slide will remain without any effect applied on it – between the IN and OUT effect.

By pressing the “Motion settings” button you can apply a slide motion effect; you can set a starting position, a zoom value for the start of the slide, a zoom value for the end of the slide and an ending position. As well, you can set-up which type of motion should be applied – you can choose from many different types of motion. By enabling the “Random” option, the zoom values for the start and end of the slides will be chosen randomly. If you enable the "No Motion" option, your slide will keep the center position of the show.

Usually, the slides will continue one after the other in the following way: as the OUT effect of the preceding slide ends, the IN effect of the next one starts. By enabling the “Overlap effects” option the effects will overlap each other in the following way: the IN effect of a slide will start simultaneously with the OUT effect of the preceding slide.

You can add a hyperlink to your slide by inserting an address in the link text field, as well choose where it will be opened from the Target option.

The last option that is available here is accessed by pressing the “Apply settings to all slides” button; this will reconfigure the options for all your slides the same as the options of the selected slide. Because it's an irreversible step, a warning message will appear in order to be sure you want to do it.
