Submenu configuration

The first set of options deal with the layout of the submenu; the first thing that you can set is the alignment with respect to the activating button – “Left”, “Center” or “Right”. From the “Submenu Alpha” you can set the opacity of the submenu, with values between 0 and 100; 0 corresponds to a transparent state, while 100 to a fully opaque one.

“Show arrow for submenus”, is an ON/OFF option; when enabled, the existence of a submenu will be signaled by an arrow next to the respective button. As this option is enabled, the “Arrow spacing” option will become active; this defines the spacing between the arrow and button's top-right corner. It contains two values (x,y) which define as it follows: x – distance measured horizontally and y – distance measured vertically.

The next two options control how much the submenus will overlap; “V Submenu Overlap” is connected to a vertical submenu while “H Submenu Overlap” is connected to a horizontal submenu. Both are expressed in pixels.

Next options concern the submenu buttons. The “Align” options places the buttons on the menu and can have the following values: “Top”, “Middle” and “Bottom”.

The ”Button Resizing” option refers to the size of the main buttons; if we select “no resize” the buttons will have their default, minimum dimensions. If we select “fit to largest text”, the dimension of the button with the largest text will be computed and all will be given this size.

The other three options are numerical and control the button’s minimum width, the button spacing or, respectively, the distance from the margin of the menu; all are expressed in pixels.
