Hi

I'm trying to make a simple Flash with my underwater picture and used your MovieFX

First I imported the JPG-picture (500x335 pixel) to the library and converted it to a movieclip, put the Creative MovieFX on it and launch the compont inspector (Category : All, Efect : PieceDance).

Unfortunately the MovieFX animated only on a small area on the bottom right side (ca. 1/4 of the picture).

On other effects, I see that the MovieFX animated with the whole area of the picture, some test I made with category : All, Efect :
Bounce
ColorMe
DarkTint
Elastis
Fade
Impact
ImpactBounced
Imprint
ImprintBounced etc.

How can I get the effect to the whole area of the picture or did I make a mistake during importing the picture to the library ?

Could you please help me with some tips to resolve this .
I will send you the FLA-file with email.

Best regards
etoy

Hi,

The problem was that the registration point of your movie clip was not set properly. When using MovieFX you have to set the target movie clip’s registration point to the upper-left corner of the movie clip.

I have sent you the corrected FLA file by email.

Best regards,
Horea RADU.

I'm having the same problem - the effects are only applied to the bottom right area of the Movie Clip. Then, after the effect is complete, the whole image appears. But, making the registration point fix did not fix the problem. My image and Movie Clip both have their registration points set at the upper left. no change. Any other suggestions?
