Overview

You can easily manage your menus across using the "Update in all pages" ,"Insert existing menu" , and „Delete from all pages” features. These allow the user to easily update all the pages that contain a Creative Menu after making changes in one page and insert an existing menu in a new page or delete the menus with just one click.


1. Create a simple menu

We need to create a menu like shown in this tutorial Create a simple Tabbed Menu and insert it in your web site pages.




2. Update menu in all pages

When you create a menu, insert or edit a menu the extension creates a set of files that helps it to keep track of all the pages that is in. Is kind of a  “map” that facilitates the “update in all pages function”.

To update a menu in all pages you will just have to:

3. Insert existing menu in a new page

If you have created a menu on one page of your current Dreamweaver site, you will probably want to insert that menu on all the pages without having to recreate the menu each time.

To insert an existing menu in a new page:

NOTE: If you rename a file that contains a Creative Menu you will have to edit the menu and click the "Ok" button (this is necessary so that Creative Menus can keep track of the new file name). Otherwise the “Update in all pages” and "Delete from all pages" features will not work.




4. Delete existing menu

If you have created a menu on one page of your current Dreamweaver site, ate one time you will probably want to delete that menu.
