Why is necessary to use custom resize values

By default the items are resized from the middle and the duplicated width is 5 pixels this means that “X cut point” and “y cut point” are in the middle of the resized shape and the “X Duplicate” and “Y Duplicate” is 5 pixels width.
The default values will work most of the time and should be changed only on custom skins and only if you have gradients, shapes, images that don’t look good if they are be resized from the middle.

Note* If you are using a custom skin and you have selected in the General Tab the "Fit to Page" option you should choose a bigger duplicate area for the background.

Advanced Resize Settings

Note* You only have to set values for the resizing parameters that you need. Just leave the other text fields blank.
