If you are testing the page locally you may receive a Flash Player security warning or you won’t see the submenus. This is normal and it happens because the Creative Menu uses both Flash and JavaScript and Flash Player is trying to comunicate with the web page it resides on (which is not permitted by the default Flash Player security settings if the page is a local one).
This warning will not appear if the website is on a web server. In order to test locally you have to configure your security settings to trust the content that resides in your web site's folder.
| Step 1. Right click the menu and choose "About Adobe Flash Player" | ![]() |
| Step 2. Click the Settings Manager link on the right side of the page. | ![]() |
| Step 3. Click the Global Security Setting Panel link | ![]() |
| Step 4. In the Edit locations dropdown choose Add location | ![]() |
| Step 5. Fill in the text field the path to the root of your web site and click Confirm | ![]() |
| Step 6. Finaly you should see the root of your website in the trusted locations list and you should not receive any security warnings any more. | ![]() |
